Pedro has postgraduate specialization training in procedural law and an LL.M. and doctorate in regulatory law from FGV Law School in Rio de Janeiro, with focus on tax regulation. He is also a part-time professor and Niterói municipal attorney. All told, he has 9 years of experience in the area of taxation, especially tax litigation.
This solid experience, in particular in administrative and judicial tax litigation, enables him to provide insightful advice and effective representation to business clients in all relevant tax questions, with a comprehensive vision of all the possibilities, advantages and risks involved in each case, including tax planning.
He also works with the lawyers from the firm’s other practice areas, such as corporate, capital market, banking, labor and insurance law, permitting multidisciplinary tax advice based on thorough knowledge of each client’s business, considering all the legal and economic impacts that tax cases can bring.
