When it comes to high-volume law practice, our system for monitoring processes is what sets us apart, as it was developed and perfected internally over the course of many years and to which we allocate resources on a permanent basis. We use state-of-the-art IT systems for matters related to the provision of legal services, thus allowing the delivery of unrivaled services of registration, agreements, closures and, of course, lawyering itself.

Technology

We use the Mylegal system for legal management that is customized, with capacity for integration with the systems used by clients and more than 70 software robots installed. We have a data-driven culture, where decisions are based on structured data under the governance of a legal controller, who is involved in all operations of the firm.

CGV Advogados invests heavily in innovation and technology, through an IT team with exclusive dedication, composed of developers and specialists in infrastructure, with the following differences:

  • Customized Mylegal system for legal management, with capacity for integration with the systems used by clients.
  • Development of systems and routines for automation (robots), to give greater assertiveness to the operational routines and reduce expenses.
  • Business Intelligence (BI) for reading indicators, utilization of robots and determination of operational workflow.
  • Online platform for settlement of cases, with totally automated sending of messages and negotiation.
  • “Intelligent case-closing queue”, which captures the developments of cases from the sites of the various court districts and indicate those that are nearing conclusion.
  • Structural organization of the firm in core teams (intake of new cases, settlements, control, payments and closing of cases), as well as teams (operational and legal) specialized by sector.

Diversity

Considering that diversity is an important instrument in promoting an inclusive work environment, CGV Advogados believes that supporting actions aimed at diversity and inclusion should be a commitment of the firm.

For this reason, the "CGV For Everyone" diversity committee was established. It aims to promote diversity in the work environment, regardless of color, race, gender, ethnicity, physical and personal characteristics, origin, age, religion, sexual orientation, and political views.

The committee works as an instrument to promote a plural, inclusive, and comfortable work environment for all, committing to act to prevent discrimination, prejudice, and intolerance, advocating respect between people, dignity, and equality.

As a result of the work carried out by the committee, CGV Advogados received the "CESA 2023 Seal – Gender Equality", being recognized in the "Engaged" category in the research published by CESA – Center for the Study of Law Firms, whose objective is to improve initiatives, publicize inclusion projects and establish goals for the evolution and valorization of professional women in the structures of law firms, both in the legal and administrative areas.

Pro Bono

Pro bono work has always been part of the firm's practices, as a measure aimed at combating unequal access to justice.

In 2021, concerned with strengthening its operations in this segment, CGV Advogados entered into a partnership with the Pro Bono Institute, which acts as a bridge between the socially vulnerable population and non-profit organizations aimed at assisting them, and volunteer lawyers.

The pro bono practice is structured to offer the same quality and commitment in all suits sponsored by CGV Advogados, thus seeking to reaffirm the social role of lawyering.

Social Responsability

CGV Advogados supports several initiatives and organizations that carry out social assistance work for socially vulnerable groups.

The actions are aimed at building a more just and compassionate society, promoting awareness and encouraging the participation of all the firm's professionals.

Since 2023, CGV Advogados has supported Sou Segura - Association of Women in the Insurance Market, made up of representatives from the insurance market, aiming to raise awareness, empower and encourage the insertion of more women in this segment, through mentoring, events and consolidation of networking in the country's main companies.
