Guilherme is a lawyer with a Master’s degree in Civil Law from the University of Lisbon, with a focus on Liability and Insurance Law. He has notable experience in matters related to Civil, Regulatory, and Corporate Law, particularly in the insurance and reinsurance, corporate, and contract sectors. He has extensive experience in Administrative Sanctioning Proceedings before the Superintendence of Private Insurance (SUSEP) and the National Council of Private Insurance, Open Pension Plans, and Capitalization (CRSNSP). He joined the firm in March 2020 and became part of the Special Cases and Advisory Team (CEC), representing the interests of insurers and reinsurers in complex and high-value regulatory and contractual matters.

His daily practice includes drafting legal opinions, legal interpretations, contractual clauses, and handling administrative and corporate proceedings before SUSEP. He is also the author of articles and book chapters on Insurance Law.

Bachelor of Law degree from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) Law School in March 2013.
Master’s in Civil Law, with a focus on Civil Liability and Insurance, from the University of Lisbon – Faculty of Law.
Extension Course in Insurance, Reinsurance and Regulatory Law from Getulio Vargas Foundation – Rio de Janeiro.
Extension Course in Contract Law from IBDCivil, given at the headquarters building of the Rio de Janeiro State Public Defenders Office.
