​”ART. 942 CPC/15: Can the expanded panel analyze the entire case or just the divergent points?”  is the title of an article written by Gabriela Cavalcanti to examine the position of the Superior Tribunal of Justice (the highest court for non-constitutional matters) on whether it is possible, in the event of expanding the number of judges on the panel as set forth in Article 942 of the Civil Procedure Code of 2015, to consider the entire appeal or just the divergent points in the split decision of the panel with its original makeup.
